Easy As Hell Apple Crumble

8 November 2003

Cut 4-10 apples (depending on size) in half; cut out the triangle with the core in. Put each half face down on the board and slice horizontally 2-4 times and vertically 3-6 times. Put all the apple bits in a bowl and toss with about 2 tbsps brown sugar, and 2 tsps each cardomon, cinnamon and ginger. Put into a pie pan greased with butter. Use the same bowl, put in 3-4 tbsp of butter and melt in the microwave; add 3 cups of oatmeal and 1/2-1 cup brown sugar. Cover the apple bits with crumble and cook in a 350F oven for 30-40 minutes.
